Tradition and Subversion, Day 1

Warm-Up: Name a tradition that is UNIQUE to your family. Describe the rituals of the tradition. If possible, share the origins of the tradition and the significance/symbolism of the elements of the ritual.

Next class: Read From Nostalgia to Nirvana, Reyes. Group 1 "Nostalgic," please share/distribute materials you would like the class to read/view prior to your presentation.
